[griechisch], Beckenmoos, Gattung der thallösen Lebermoose mit drei Arten in den gemäßigten Zonen von Europa und Nordamerika; am häufigsten kommt Pellia epiphylla auf feuchten Waldböden und an Bachufern vor. Thallus bandförmig, gabelig verzweigt, bis 1 cm breit. Die vierklappigen, lang gestielten Sporenkapseln entspringen einer beckenförmigen Hülle auf der Thallusoberseite im zeitigen Frühjahr.
